September is Attendance Awareness Month, and Lyman Elementary is kicking off our September Attendance Challenge!
Throughout the month, our Lions will compete through their homerooms and individual attendance challenges as we work toward one important goal:
⭐ BE HERE. BE ON TIME. STAY ALL DAY. ⭐
🏫 Homerooms will battle for the Traveling Golden Lion Attendance Trophy!
⭐ Classes can earn stars for days with 100% attendance! This means here all day (no check-ins or check-outs).
🎟️ Students who are present every day, arrive on time, and stay all day can qualify for our weekly Show Up & Show Out prize drawing!

Why does attendance matter? Because attendance adds up. Missing just two days of school each month can mean missing approximately 20 days of instruction during a school year.

Families, we need your help! Unless your child is ill or has an excused reason to be absent, help us make school attendance a priority.
